Additional examples of Scott 220, the 2¢ from the "Small Banknotes" series
Scott 220, 2¢ Washington, carmine, plate numbers 60 (on 220P5), 164, 194, 205, 214 (on 220P4), 220, 222, 231, 237, 245, 260, 271, 275, 291, 292, 294, 301, 303, 304, 306, 308, 309, 311, 320, 324, 328, 337, 339, 340, 343, 344 The example of plate number 205 is the discovery copy, as no example was previously known. The example of plate number 303 is the discovery copy, photographically cropped from a plate block of 6. The image is from a decades old Philatelic Foundation certificate, but the unreported plate number had not been noticed at the time.
