The example of plate number 205 is the discovery copy, as no example was previously known.

The example of plate number 303 is the discovery copy, photographically cropped from a plate block of 6. The image is from a decades old Philatelic Foundation certificate, but the unreported plate number had not been noticed at the time.

Scott 220a "Cap on Left 2" variety occurs on plates 235, 236, 246, 247 and 248.

Scott 220c "Cap on Both 2's" variety occurs on plates 245, 246 and 249.
