used to print the carmine frames for many denominations. The values were printed separately

Parcel Post Postage Due issues (1913)
Used parcel post stamps are quite unusual. First, use of parcel post stamps to mail parcels was unusual in the first place, and only lasted a brief time. But more importantly, parcels were typically mailed by large mail order companies, or one at a time by individuals who had their parcels weighed at the post office. As a result, mistakes in weighing that would result in postage due were rare. Finally, the receiving post office had to have stock of parcel post postage due stamps on hand; if not, they simply used regular postage due stamps.
We have only seen one "used" parcel post postage due stamp, and this was cropped from a "used" plate block of six. It is considered "used" merely becuase it has no gum. There is no postmark or other indication that it was actually postally used. Please report any additional examples.
