2007-2011 Forever Liberty Bell Stamps

All Forever stamps are shown on this page, regardless of the rate period or intended rate during which they were sold or issued.

All Forever Liberty Bell stamps have been issued in self-adhesive double-sided booklet, convertible booklet, or ATM pane format. There have been no coils, water-activated sheet stamps, or self-adhesive panes.

2007 issues

Originally issued at the end of the 39-cent rate period, but sold for 41¢ as they were intended to be used at this rate when the concept of Forever stamps was introduced.

Scott 4127, (41¢) Liberty Bell "forever" stamp, die cut 11.25 x 10.75 on 2 or 3 sides, from double-sided convertible booklet of 20 (Scott 4127a), plate number S11111

From booklet pane of 20, Scott 4127a. Scott 4127b has been assigned to the partial pane or block of 4, and Scott 4127c to the partial pane of 6. Two tagging varieties exist: Dead LWUV, and Hi-Bright LWUV.

Scott 4128, (42¢) Liberty Bell "forever" stamp, ATM pane of 18 (Scott 4128a): Early printings had plate number V11 on the back of the pane. When a later printing used plate number V22222, the plate number was moved to the front of the ATM pane.

 

2008 issues

Issued and sold at 41¢ at the end of the 41-cent rate period, but intended to meet demand during the 42¢ rate change.

Two tagging varieties exist:  Dead LWUV, and Banner Hi-Bright LWUV.

Two tagging varieties exist: Solid tag/Hi-Bright LWUV on the pane of 12 + label, and mottled tagging on the pane of 8 + label. The front and back of the same booklet have different tagging varieties.

2009 issues

Issued and sold at 42¢ at the end of the 42-cent rate period, but intended to meet demand during the 44¢ rate change. After May 14, 2009, sold at 44¢.

2010 issues

Sold at 44¢.

2011 issues

Stock of the Liberty Bell Forever stamps continued to be sold at the new rate of 44¢, but there were no new printings or varieties.
